I just wanted to thank the people so far who took the time to play the game, your recommendations and feedback are greatly appreciated! 

Some of the things brought up:

  • Save Game Functionality: The save system works only on the world map. If you try to save during combat, it won’t function correctly. You can load from combat, though. I simply forgot to disable the save button while in combat—saving is only intended to be available from the world map.
  • AP Indicator - Currently, movement range is shown visually, but I agree a numeric AP counter would make planning easier. This is coming to the UI soon. For reference:
    • All characters in the demo start with 16 AP
    • Rai starts with 20 AP (Due to her unique trait: Lightning Reflexes)
  • Add music to some dialogue scenes - Yep, I dropped the ball here. A few scenes are still missing background music, but that’s being addressed soon.
  • Game Freeze on Enemy Turn. If your game freezes during the enemy’s turn, please let me know what happened right before that. This is a high-priority bug, and I haven’t been able to reproduce it myself during testing, so your feedback would help a ton.
  • Rai and Lana are OP. At this early stage of the game, they’re meant to feel more powerful than your average soldier. They’re supposed to stand out and give you that sense of “these two are something different.” ;)
